Jerry R. Clark, MD, FASA, FASE, MS-HQSM is a cardiac anesthesiologist with 20 years of experience employed by several academic medical centers. With over 40 years of experience in martial arts and 10 years in the military, he has trained soldiers and students to succeed physically, mentally, and spiritually. His background includes sports medicine training, traumatology, and critical care and instructs Tai Chi Chuan (Yang style), street self-defense/rape prevention and mixed martial arts. He currently holds the rank of lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves. I have had the pleasure of training with Jay at KORE for the last ten years. As a physician in the military, he has helped me recover from previous athletic and military training injuries. Jay’s unique style of blending strength training, aerobic and endurance exercises, and stretching with full range of motion practices has improved my overall strength and performance, enabling me to recover from a devastating knee injury in the army and to pass the Army Fitness Test after a total knee replacement in my mid-50s. No matter your age or fitness level, Jay can design a program that will make you healthier, stronger, and more functional, improving flexibility and stabilizing muscles for balance. I highly recommend KORE OTG for all your fitness needs.

I have been a practicing physician with over 20 years of experience. I specialize in both primary care and mental health, with a primary focus on the diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders. My expertise includes medication management for conditions such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. In addition to clinical treatment, I emphasize a holistic approach to mental well-being, incorporating nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle modifications. I completed my undergraduate studies at Harvard University and conducted schizophrenia research at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City before earning my medical degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine. Currently, my primary area of practice is mental health. For the past 19 years, I have co-owned and operated TNG with Ron, dedicated to serving the mental health needs of our community. My husband and I have known Jay, the founder of KORE OTG, for nearly three decades. Jay began training my husband in preparation for the Olympic qualifiers for Beijing, and we were immediately impressed by his methodical and individualized approach to fitness and athletic performance. His attention to detail and ability to tailor each program to the unique needs of his clients truly sets him apart. What makes Jay exceptional is his belief that no two bodies are the same—and he trains accordingly. He takes the time to understand and support each person he works with, making every client feel valued. It’s this philosophy that is deeply embedded in the KORE OTG app, and why my husband and I fully endorse it.

I am a licensed therapist and the CEO of The Neil Group, a mental health and wellness practice based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He co-owns the practice with his wife, Dr. Granada Shalane Neil, who is a licensed physician and nutritionist. Together, they are dedicated to improving the mental and physical health of their community through integrated care. Ron provides therapy services, while Dr. Neil oversees medication management, creating a collaborative approach to patient wellness. Originally from Ohio, Ron holds degrees from UNC Greensboro and Argosy University. He is also deeply passionate about fitness and serves as a sprint coach at a local private school. In my work in the mental health field, I’ve learned to recognize character, integrity, and authenticity—and Jay embodies all three. He is the first and only trainer I’ve encountered who truly goes above and beyond to ensure each client reaches their full potential. Jay’s assessments are thorough, and his programming is always tailored to the individual. Every session challenges you in unexpected and effective ways—his creativity and out-of-the-box thinking set him apart. What makes KORE OTG stand out is Jay’s unique ability to customize workouts based on each person’s fitness level. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced, Jay will push you just enough to leave your comfort zone—but never beyond what’s safe or sustainable. And make no mistake—if you’re an advanced athlete, prepare to be humbled. Jay is, without question, the best trainer I’ve ever worked with. Over the years, Jay has become more than just a trainer—he’s a trusted friend, a devoted coach, and a true professional. I’m incredibly proud to be a part of the KORE OTG journey and wholeheartedly recommend the app to anyone looking for a smarter, more personalized approach to fitness. With Jay’s guidance, our fitness journey has been nothing short of inspiring—and even fun.
