My name is Braeden Rodgers. I’m 19 years old and heading into my sophomore year at Barton College. I was recruited out of high school to play baseball at Barton, which had been a longtime goal of mine. In high school, I realized I wanted to play at the college level, but I also knew I needed to work much harder to make that dream a reality. After years of dedication and training, I finally achieved my goal of becoming a college athlete.
But after my freshman year, I came to another realization: if I wanted a real chance to play, I had to push myself even more than I ever had before. That’s when I found Jay and KORE Training.
A friend and fellow college baseball player recommended KORE Training to me. When I started training there, I was dealing with elbow pain caused by a weak and underdeveloped shoulder. Within just three weeks, I noticed a significant improvement in my shoulder strength, and the pain in my elbow was decreasing day by day. I even threw the hardest pitch I’d thrown in a game in nearly seven months.
Seeing such quick and meaningful results from the program has been incredibly motivating. KORE has made a huge difference in my performance and recovery.

Before I started training with Jay, my hips were tight, my core was twisted and I was in osteopenia, the precursor to osteoporosis.  After training with Jay for 1 year my Dexascan revealed that I had gained 26% bone mass and I was no longer in osteopenia. In addition, Jay’s skill in ART (active release therapy) released my tight hips and rebalanced my core. I cannot recommend Jay and Kore Training enough.  Just do it!!!

My fitness journey started with injury—not inspiration. As a high school athlete, I was thrown into the weight room with zero guidance, which led to years of preventable pain. That experience lit a fire in me to change how we train the next generation. Over the past 30+ years, I’ve built a career blending exercise science, physical therapy, and hands-on coaching—working with everyone from elite athletes to everyday clients. I’ve struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. After a few years as a stay-at-home mom, the weight really started to add up. Over the past 10+ years, I’ve learned so much about fitness, form, hydration, and nutrition. I’ve lost 50 pounds, but more importantly, I’ve gained confidence, energy, and a support system. Friends have joined KORE because they’ve seen the change in me.
